Hello! It's been a while since I made a news post. Probably because I don't really like writing things like these.
Here's some features that I've added in the past few months:

Links to different pages on the main page

To make it easier for people to find some of the cool tools I've made on this site, I added a "more" button to the home page. None of the stuff there is new, but I wanted to make it easier to get to.

Merch Messages Index

Apparently I never made a news post about the Merch Messages Index. This can be useful if you are wondering if someone has asked a question in a merch message before, or if you forgot where the merch message you sent was displayed.
Basically, I've run OCR on most WAN shows, and made a searchable index of all of the merch messages I got from that. It doesn't include all merch messages, but it should have the majority of them. There is more info in the above link.

LTTStore watcher

I guess I never made a news post about the LTTStore watcher either. It's pretty cool and stuff. You can see how much stock they have for a product, the history of that stock, and some other metadata.
There are also some semi-recent changes to it if you already know about it:

LTTStore.info

I bought lttstore.info and had it redirected to the LTTStore watcher. This means that if you are on a product on LTTStore, you can easily get to that product on the Whenplane LTTStore watcher by replacing the .com in lttstore.com with .info.

Better Product Searching

This one is new this week. The product search has been changed from a local-only search index to a proper server-sided one. Should be much better at finding products.

You can now request updates

If a product hasn't been updated in a while and you want to see up-to-date info, there is now a request update button at the bottom of the page. There are pretty large rate limits on it to prevent abuse, but it's there if you need it. Let me know if you run into the rate limits a lot, I might see if there's something I can do without increasing my load on LTTStore.

Estimated time until stock runs out

The LTTStore watcher will also now estimate how long it will take for an item to run out of stock (assuming it doesn't get restocked before then, which most products are). This can be helpful for items that sell out fairly quickly.
This currently doesn't track time remaining for individual variants (e.g., sizes), but I plan to add that at some point.

Backorder notices

The lttstore watcher now also shows if a product has any backorder notices on it. This was mainly added so that backorder changes could be tracked with the new 'change history' feature, which is discussed below.

Other product info

Other product information, besides the description, is now also being tracked. This includes warranty, sizing, and product care info.
This can be useful if you bought a limited-run product. If the product gets removed from the store, you can pull it up on Whenplane to see all the care information. Another option is using the internet archive, but you would need to know the date that the product was on LTTStore to look it up, and the internet archive is fairly slow at loading heavy sites like LTTStore, so Whenplane is a faster and potentially easier alternative.

Change history

Whenplane now also tracks when metadata about a product changes. Whenever any data I collect for a product changes, an entry will be added there, and it will try to highlight exactly what changed.

LTTStore watcher channel on discord

On the Whenplane discord, there is a channel that will get messages when certain changes are noticed on LTTStore. This includes new products, price changes (e.g., sales), restocks, etc.

Floatplane watcher

I have also added a page that shows the data that I have collected from floatplane's current live status. Probably the main reason I made this page was to have an easier way for me to check that the floatplane status checker was working, but you can also use it to see the current title/thumbnail/description of floatplane. When they are live, it also shows how long they are live, which floatplane currently does not display itself.

History page massive speed improvements

This week, I found an issue that was causing the history page to be very slow. This was mainly noticeable when navigating from the history page to a show detail page, but was also sometimes noticed when loading the history page itself. This is fixed now, and the history page loading is much faster, and the show detail page now loads instantly in most situations.

Theres probably a bunch of smaller changes that I'm forgetting, but that's the main stuff that I haven't posted for the past few months.

I'm also working on some other things that could be exciting, but I'll leave announcing those to another time (mostly when they're more complete and I know that I wont abandon it lol)
